Wrap Over Stripe Kit

A full reproduction set of product accurate, typographically correct, 70s Wrap Over Stripes. Includes optional scripts for Kamei, the Super Beetle and South African SP.

This original 1970’s, known then as a ‘decor set’, stripe set was made by Kamei who also produced a whole catalogue of other Beetle accessories.  A similar set was offered by Volkswagen of America as a ‘wrap over stripe’ (with a Super Beetle logo) in its 1974 and 1975 accessories catalogues. Then Kamei’s also used by Volkswagen of South Africa on their 1977 SP 1600 Special Editions.

Produced in branded high-performance self-adhesive die-cut vinyl for excellent outdoor durability. It has a transparent application tape over the top, so it’s easy for you to lift the design off the backing paper once applied. Features a permanent, repositionable solvent-based adhesive with low initial tack allowing for easy adjustment during application.
